Build your design foundation, utilize & watch your product fly!

All too many times I’ve noticed people selling sublimated products that just aren’t eye-catching enough! Yes, clip art is great and we are aware that there are plenty of good sites out there that can provide you with cool templates and vectors to use in your compositions. Let’s face it, if we don’t know how to edit those designs and properly use our software, we’ll never fully utilize its capabilities or get our money’s worth.

I know people aren’t born designers; it’s a skill that you acquire with years of practice and experimentation. It would be great to see more people in the industry design fantastic products by receiving proper training with the software they currently use.

Below, I’ve listed a couple tutorial sites I personally use when I want to step up my game.
If you’ve got a couple minutes to spare you should try some of the tutorials on these sites. It’s amazing what you will learn in a short amount of time. In software, we know there are about ten different ways to do one set thing. You’ll often find that there’s a better way of doing the same thing you’ve been doing for years that will smooth your workflow and save you a ton of time.

Lynda.com is a well-respected site that many professionals have memberships for and it’s loaded with helpful movies that will educate you on about every kind of design software out there, including the ever-popular CorelDraw. The basic membership for Lynda.com is $25.00 per month and you can cancel at any time, which makes it totally worth it!
